The safety of our clients is of upmost important to us, which means we make sure we take the time to get to know every single person joining our team during the recruitment process. This allows us to carefully match our nurses and support workers to the right client - providing safe, effective care for the individual we support and a working environment that facilitates growth and development for our nurses and support workers.  

We understand that the recruitment process can sometimes seem confusing, so we’ve put together this guide to ease you through the start of your journey with Pulse Nursing at Home.

 

Step one: the application

Your application will be sent to your dedicated resourcer to review and arrange a more in-depth discussion about your experience, and the opportunities available with Pulse Nursing at Home. This is your opportunity to ask any questions you may have about the role, the recruitment process and the sort of care you will be providing.


Step two: the interview

We want to make the recruitment process as simple and stress-free as possible for those joining us. This is why we’ve removed the hassle and pressure of face-to-face interviews by using HireVue, our video interviewing platform. Following your initial conversation, you will be sent a link to complete the video interview on your computer, tablet or mobile phone.
In this process, you will be asked the questions you would expect in a face-to-face interview and your answers will be recorded to be reviewed by our nurse interviewer.


Step three: compliance checks

After completing a successful interview, your compliance coordinator will be in touch to talk you through the online background checks that need completing before you begin working with us. This thorough process has been put in place to protect our nurses and support workers, as well as the individuals we support. To ensure care provided is of the highest quality, we need to guarantee that all everyone we work with is confident and compliant before beginning their roles.


Step four: meeting the team

Once we have all your up-to-date compliance documents, you will be introduced to your care coordinator. They will take the time to get to know you and understand your needs and ambitions to ensure you’re well-supported and placed with the right client.
