Healthcare Assistant Support Worker
Location: Edinburgh (EH16 postcode area)
Shifts: Monday – Thursday (3:45pm – 8pm)
Friday (1pm – 8pm)
Saturday (3pm – 7pm)
Sunday (4pm – 8pm)
Pay rates: £16.50 per hour (weekdays) & £19.50 per hour (weekends)
*All rates are inclusive of holiday pay*
Pulse Nursing at Home is looking for a Healthcare Assistant to join our team in Scotland and provide exceptional bespoke care in the community to our client in their home in Edinburgh. The successful candidate will join a team of highly skilled, diligent, and caring healthcare professionals in Scotland who share our vision of providing compassionate specialist community care that can adapt to our clients' healthcare needs.
As a Healthcare Assistant, you will be working with our male paediatric client (10 years old), who has a downs syndrome and global developmental delay. As a member of the team, you will work within our client’s family home providing personal care, administration of medications and pressure area management.
To be considered for the role you must have:
- A minimum of 6 months UK care experience within the last 2 years
- SSSC registration is also required for this post - you must be qualified to, or working towards, the level stipulated by the SSSC as a Community Support Worker
- You must be eligible to complete a PVG (Protecting Vulnerable Groups) and undertake our necessary identity checks. Pulse Nursing at Home will fund both existing and new memberships.
