What do I need to do to register with Pulse Nursing at Home?
Eligibility to work in the UK
Enhanced, Adult and Child workforce DBS – we can provide this if necessary
A minimum of 6 months ‘hands-on’ experience within the healthcare sector in the last two years, as a support worker or healthcare assistant
Excellent English and Numeracy skills
Ability to attend both mandatory and specialist training
Able to work independently and also as part of a wider team
Reliability and flexibility
Two clinical references
Do I need to have a qualification to work as a Support Worker for you?
No, six months experience is all that is required
What documentation should I bring to Interview?
Passport
Evidence of your right to work in the UK (if no EU passport)
Two proofs of address (dated within the last three months)
Driving licence (if applicable)
Any relevant training or qualification certificates
Can you accept copies of documents as proof of right to work in the UK or for a DBS check?
No, We need to see the original documents to process a DBS application
Can I apply for more than one position?
You can, however you will be considered for all appropriate roles in your area, based on your experience, skills and personality, so it’s not necessary to apply more than once
I have applied for a job online – will I receive a personal response?
You will receive an email confirming that we have received your application. We will then personally be in touch within 48 hours
I was not successful in the application process. Will I get feedback?
If you have an interview with us, we will always provide constructive feedback to ensure you are able to improve your chances of being successful next time
Is it worthwhile registering even if I don’t see a role in my area?
We would always encourage you to apply with us, even if we don’t have an open role which suits your exact requirements. With the nature of community based complex care changing daily, there may be a position sooner than we think
Why do I need a DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check?
Due to the nature of our work, providing care to vulnerable children and adults, we require all of our applicants to undertake a DBS
Are there any age restrictions on your roles?
All of our roles require our applicants to be over 18 due to the complex nature of our clients
Can you offer me work if I am applying from overseas?
If you are eligible to work in the UK and are able to produce documentation to support this and you have relevant experience, you can be considered for work
Do you offer any training programmes?
We provide free mandatory and specialist training to ensure that you are adequately qualified to the standard required by our Clinical Governance team. To find out more about our training
