Female Paediatric Intensive Care Nurse – Community Based



Pay Rate – £27 per hour (including holiday pay)

Pulse Nursing at Home provide specialised care for our clients. We support individuals in their own homes who have complex care needs including spinal cord injuries, acquired brain injuries, muscular and neurological conditions.

The role is working with a 9 year old male who was has a complex physical disability. As a paediatric nurse in this role, you will be supporting the client with clinical interventions and providing the best quality care.

For this role you would need to be competent in the below skills:

Ventilation via mask
Nasal pharyngeal suctioning
Oral suctioning
Oxygen therapy
Administration of nebulisers via ventilator
Care and use of nasogastic tube
Insertion of nasogastric tube
Bag and valve mask ventilation
Physical Disability Experience

Key Requirements:

Must be a Registered Children Nurse with minimum of 6 months UK experience working with Children in Hospital, Hospice or Community settings.

Must have minimum 6 months recent experience with all the skills above.

Must be able to commit to 2-3 shifts a week.
