Paediatric Nurse RNC
Location: *Please note the role is in Burton-on-Trent, Staffordshire and candidates would be expected to travel*
Shift: Days available (08:00-18:00)
Pay rate: £28.37 (including holiday pay)
At Pulse Nursing at Home we specialise in nurse-led packages of care for clients with complex needs who want to receive care in their own homes and communities.
The role will involve working with our 16 year old male client. He is diagnosed with Leukodystrophy a brainstem and spinal injury. The client is is living in the family home. You will be supporting his clinical needs, enhancing his quality of life where possible and enriching his social needs through play and interaction. You will be expected to deliver high quality patient care, build a rapport with the client whilst maintaining professional boundaries.
To deliver care and support to our client, please be aware you must have recent experience with the following:
- Tracheostomy care & suctioning / tube change
- Ventilation via tracheostomy
- Oral suctioning
- Mechanical cough assist (essential, not desired)
