Residential Care Assistant

Area: Beccles, Suffolk

Pay Rate: £13.88 per hour

Pulse Nursing at Home are currently putting together a new team to work within a step-down hospital setting. In this residential care home, all residents have tested positive for COVID-19 however are very stable.

You will be expected to carry out day to day care needs for the residents showing professionalism and integrity in your role. Our elderly residents have care needs including bladder and bowel care, as well as stroke awareness. Your competencies will be signed off by a Registered Nurse once you are working.

If you are travelling accommodation may be considered.

Our ideal Support Worker will have:

  • Minimum of 12 months experience in a residential care setting for older people
  • An awareness or experience of care for stroke patients
  • Competency in carrying out bladder and bowel care
  • Be able to contribute towards a positive care home environment

This is a great opportunity to support residents in a step-down setting and support their independence in a more comfortable environment. You will play a key part in ensuring their time at the care home is enjoyable and they receive the highest quality of care.
