Support Worker (Driver)

Location: Waterlooville (PO7)

Shift: Days and Sleeping nights (8am-8am) 24h shift

Pay rate: Days - £12.82 per hour (including holiday pay)

                 Sleeping Nights - £9.99 per hour 

                 Weekends - £14.13 per hour (including holiday pay)

Full UK driving licence - must be aged 25 and above for insurance purposes.

Pulse Nursing at Home is currently looking for a healthcare assistant or support worker to join our team in Waterlooville. In this role you will be supporting our male client within his own home, who has a complex spinal cord injury. 

As a healthcare assistant/support worker, your duties on shift will include providing personal care, administering medications, manual handling, and working with clinical interventions. 

Applicant Criteria:

- Minimum of 6 months UK care experience within the last 2 years 

- Full UK manual driving licence

Once you have completed an application form and had a successful interview, we will need to complete the below;

  • Full education and work history
  • Full background check
  • DBS - we will require a fully enhanced DBS for this role
  • References- please ensure that all references provided come from a company email address
  • 8-10 e-learning courses- these include courses such as child protection, safeguarding and health and safety. In place of this we will accept recently completed training certificates which can be independently verified.
