At Pulse Nursing at Home, we’re committed to ensuring our workers receive the training and support they need to give excellent care to our clients. We make a significant investment to provide high-quality training, delivered to you through a combination of practical classroom courses and online self-learning.


Specialist Training

All support workers will undertake specialist training to work with a specific client. This could be through a classroom based course, online training, or “on the job”. This type of specialist training could be one or more of the following:

  • Medication administration and documentation
  • Working with a client with respiratory difficulties
  • Working with a client with spinal difficulties
  • Working with a client with epilepsy or diabetes
  • Understanding enteral feeding
  • Basic Observations
  • Pressure area care management
  • Working with an end of life client
