In support of this year’s International Nurses Day theme “Our Nurses. Our Future.” And its call to action: “We must learn from the pandemic and translate these learnings into future actions to ensure nurses are protected, respected and valued.” Clinical Lead Sian discusses the importance of protecting nurses and how we protect our nurses at Pulse Nursing at Home.

How we protect our nurses at Pulse Nursing at Home

At Pulse Nursing at Home, we protect our nurses by offering a 24/7 support service through our Operations and Clinical Teams who are on call 7 days a week and here to support you whenever you need them. We also provide our nurses with shadow shifts to give them a good understanding of their role and how they will work collaboratively with their colleagues to deliver the best possible care to our clients.

We have a fully comprehensive Compliance Team supporting our nurses to maintain their compliance and progress in their careers by completing continual professional development (CPD) courses which can be accessed via our information hub called Compass, which contains all of the valuable resources and information our nurses need during their careers with Pulse Nursing at Home.

Our Supervisions and Appraisals Team are available for confidential wellbeing calls. The team can provide welfare and pastoral support as well as signpost to the relevant services for issues outside of professional responsibilities.
