Female Healthcare Assistant Support Worker

Location: Southampton and surrounding areas

Shifts: Variety of shifts dependent on care package (range between 8 – 12 hour shifts) 

Pay rate: £14.86 – Days, £15.19 – Nights and £17.10 – Weekends (all rates are inclusive of holiday pay)

Pulse Nursing at Home provides clinically outstanding long-term, and lifetime, managed care services to children and adults with complex care needs at home or in the community. We currently are recruiting for experienced healthcare assistant/support workers to join our team in supporting more individuals in the comfort of their own homes.

Our clients have various complex care needs ranging from brain injuries, spinal injuries and genetic conditions. Each worker will receive specialist training for the client they are supporting. As a member of the team, you will be expected to provide personal care, administer medications, moving and handling and working with clinical interventions.

What we’re looking for in our team;

•            6 months’ UK care experience within the last years undertaking tasks such as personal care, administering medication, moving and handling etc.

•            Colleagues who are interested in working a stable Rota, working 1:1 or 2:1 within a client’s own home

•            A willingness to learn and undertake new complex care interventions including tracheostomy, ventilation, and peg feeding

•            Colleagues who want to build a good working relationship with the team and the client.
